About the RoleAs the Quality Lead, you will own the end-to-end testing framework for a high-traffic mobile application. You will serve as the final authority before code reaches production, designing systems that embed quality at every stage of the development lifecycle. This is a high-autonomy role focused on technical judgment, not people management. You will influence engineering processes, drive mobile automation, and leverage AI to scale testing efforts, ensuring that every feature and experiment meets a high standard of excellence before reaching global users. What You’ll DoDesign and implement a comprehensive QA framework covering individual developer tasks through to final production release gates.Serve as the final release authority, performing parallel testing, hotfix triage, and critical blocker management.Manage the lifecycle of feature flags and A/B tests to ensure variant coverage and control-group integrity.Cultivate alpha and beta tester communities to establish a structured, high-signal early-warning feedback loop.Perform root cause analysis on production issues to implement systemic process changes that prevent recurring bug classes.Drive mobile automation strategies using end-to-end regression suites to optimize human testing efforts.Integrate AI tools into the quality workflow to generate test plans, analyze crashes, and triage bug reports. What You BringExtensive experience in mobile product quality for iOS and Android platforms.Technical proficiency in managing builds, logs, feature flags, and crash reporting tools.Proven experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Maestro or Appium.Hands-on experience managing release tracks via TestFlight and Google Play Console.Advanced understanding of A/B testing QA, including variant coverage and flag states.Daily proficiency with AI tools and agents for technical workflows. Nice to HavesDeep familiarity with the Flutter framework and its rendering behavior on various hardware.Experience in a remote-first, high-autonomy startup environment.Background in health, fitness, or gamified mobile products.
