Quality Assurance Manager

Headquartered in Dublin, we specialise in the design, construction, and commissioning of mission-critical infrastructure, delivering projects across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning disciplines.As Europe's leading dedicated data centre delivery partner, we are currently delivering multiple large-scale data centre projects across seven European countries, representing more than 430MW of IT load currently under construction.Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our project team and play a key role in delivering world-class data centre facilities.The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading all project quality activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, client expectations, and the Winthrop Integrated Management System (IMS).The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and commissioning teams to promote a culture of quality excellence throughout the project lifecycle, from construction through to commissioning and handover. ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation and management of project-specific Quality PlansEnsure all works are carried out in accordance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System (IMS), including Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental requirementsDevelop, monitor, and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and inspection programmesPlan and conduct quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities to verify compliance with project requirementsEnsure subcontractors implement and maintain effective quality management systems and inspection processesReview and monitor quality documentation, test records, inspection reports, and turnover packagesManage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventative actions to ensure timely resolution of quality issuesLiaise with client quality representatives, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure quality expectations are metSupport construction, commissioning, and handover activities by ensuring quality records and documentation are complete and accurateIdentify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the projectMentor and support site-based quality personnel and promote a positive quality culture throughout the project teamProduce quality performance reports and communicate key quality metrics to project leadership

Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quality Management, QA/QC Management, or similar role within the construction industryPrevious experience working on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Semiconductor, Mission-Critical, or Large-Scale Commercial ProjectsStrong understanding of construction quality management systems and industry best practiceExperience managing quality throughout construction, commissioning, and project handover phasesKnowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and auditing principlesExperience managing subcontractors and driving quality performance on complex projectsStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and CSA construction processesExperience using digital quality management platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360, ACC, Procore, or similarExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to analyse issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actionsStrong organisational and documentation management skills QualificationsRelevant trade qualification, diploma, or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services, or a related disciplineISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification desirableProfessional quality management certifications are advantageous
