R&D Director – Hardware Engineering📍 Location: Espoo, Finland (on-site) 💰 Salary: €6,500–€7,500 per monthAre you an experienced hardware engineering leader ready to take products from concept to mass production?We’re looking for a hands-on R&D Director to lead mechanical and electronics engineering teams developing rugged outdoor displays, touchscreens, and payment terminals.🔹 Key Responsibilities• Lead hardware development from concept and prototyping to mass production
- Manage and mentor mechanical and electronics engineering teams
- Drive technical decisions, project execution, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams
- Improve product quality, engineering processes, and efficiency
- Explore AI and automation opportunities to streamline R&D workflows🔹 What We’re Looking For✅ Around 15 years of relevant engineering and hardware product development experience (exceptional candidates with 12+ years may be considered)
✅ Broad knowledge of mechanical engineering and electronics ✅ Proven engineering leadership and product delivery experience ✅ A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving ✅ Professional working proficiency in English ✅ Willingness to work on-site in Espoo, FinlandExperience with rugged displays, touchscreens, Asian manufacturing partners, or structured hardware development processes is a plus.🌟 What’s on offer?• Significant autonomy and direct access to the CTO
