About the role:This is a senior, commercially focused position for an experienced tech recruiter with a strong client development background.Your primary focus will be identifying companies with technical hiring needs, building relationships with decision-makers and converting opportunities into recruitment partnerships.You will have significant autonomy over your market and business development strategy, supported by ByteHire's recruitment, sourcing and technical screening capabilities. What We're Looking For:We are looking for an established recruiter who can demonstrate a strong track record of personally generating and converting new business, rather than solely managing vacancies provided through an existing desk.You should be confident developing your own market, opening conversations with new organisations and turning those relationships into long-term recruitment partnerships. Responsibilities:Generate new recruitment relationships across the EU technology market.Identify companies with technical hiring needs and engage key decision-makers.Build relationships with CTOs, engineering leaders, talent teams and founders.Generate opportunities through direct outreach, networking and referrals.Lead client relationship conversations and present ByteHire's services.Convert prospects into active vacancies and long-term client relationships.Assist with commercial discussions around recruitment fees and terms.Grow existing accounts and identify further hiring opportunities.Work with ByteHire's sourcing and technical teams to ensure successful delivery. Key Experience:Significant recruitment experience, ideally within the technology sector.Proven success winning new recruitment clients and generating revenue.Experience developing your own recruitment desk, territory or client portfolio.Good understanding of the EU technology hiring market.Knowledge of software engineering, AI, cloud, DevOps, data or cybersecurity recruitment.Strong prospecting, networking and relationship-building skills.Confident with engaging and negotiating with senior decision-makers.Commercially focused, self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Desirable Experience:An established professional network within the EU technology sector.Previous experience recruiting software engineers, AI/ML specialists, DevOps/Cloud engineers, data professionals or cybersecurity specialists.Experience working with EU start-ups, scale-ups, SaaS businesses, HealthTech companies or other technology-led organisations.Experience establishing a new recruitment territory or developing a market from the ground up.Previous experience operating successfully as an independent recruitment consultant.Experience within smaller or growing recruitment businesses where consultants have significant commercial autonomy.Familiarity with modern CRM, ATS, sourcing and business development platforms.
