Role Description The RELEX Business Consultant role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Helsinki, with the flexibility to work partly from home. In this role, the consultant will work closely with retail, manufacturing, and distribution clients to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into effective RELEX solution designs. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and testing the RELEX platform, preparing and delivering client workshops, documenting solution designs, and supporting data validation and integration activities. The consultant will collaborate with both client stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful end-to-end implementations and ongoing optimization of planning and forecasting processes. The role also involves providing advisory support on best practices, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to project management tasks such as status reporting and issue tracking. Qualifications Strong analytical skills for data-driven problem solving, scenario analysis, and performance evaluation.Experience in consulting or management consulting, including working with clients to define requirements and deliver solutions.Excellent communication skills for facilitating workshops, presenting complex concepts clearly, and building stakeholder alignment.Understanding of finance or commercial drivers in retail, manufacturing, or distribution (e.g., margins, inventory, and working capital).Experience with supply chain, merchandising, demand forecasting, or retail planning solutions; RELEX experience is a strong advantage.Ability to work in hybrid teams, manage multiple projects or workstreams, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or BI tools) and comfort working with large datasets.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or similar.Fluency in English; Finnish language skills are beneficial.
