Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Laboratory Setting, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

In this role, you will be part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets diagnostic tests for allergies, asthma, and autoimmune diseases.

How will you make an impact?

We are looking for a Scientist R&D to join our Research & Development team in Uppsala.

In this role, you will take the lead in one of our product data management workflows and actively contribute to its optimization and documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining scientific knowledge with structured administrative responsibilities and wants to contribute to products and processes that make a meaningful difference.

What will you do?

Improve and optimize product data management workflowsAdd, update, and maintain product information and documentation in internal systemsEnsure that product data is accurate, complete, and up to dateCollaborate across the organization to support other departments and serve as a superuser for relevant systems and workflowsContribute to the continuous improvement of products, processes, and ways of workingWork in accordance with applicable quality, regulatory, and safety requirements

What will you need?

An advanced degree with relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of relevant industry or research experienceAn educational background in natural sciences, preferably Biotechnology, Biomedical Laboratory Science, Bioinformatics, or a related fieldExperience in data management, documentation, and technical writingStrong communication and collaboration skillsThe ability to work independently and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailGood problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience working with Phadia AB's products is considered an advantageFluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Experience working with quality systems such as GMP, GLP, or ISO is considered an advantage.
