The team building the semantic foundation behind enterprise-scale AI, intelligent agents and knowledge-driven applications.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and operating an Enterprise Semantic Layer, connecting knowledge from different enterprise systems and making it accessible, searchable and usable by AI agents and applications. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and evolve enterprise Semantic Layer and Knowledge Graph capabilities.Transform data from diverse enterprise sources into unified semantic representations using RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL and semantic models.Build semantic services, APIs and retrieval pipelines that enable AI systems to discover, retrieve and reason over enterprise knowledge.Develop Knowledge Graph and GraphRAG/RAG solutions combining structured knowledge, semantic search, embeddings and retrieval technologies.Integrate enterprise knowledge sources with platforms such as Neo4j, Snowflake, Databricks, OpenSearch, vector databases and AI platforms.Develop MCP servers and reusable agent-facing tools, including typed tool definitions and YAML/JSON specifications.Integrate semantic capabilities with Agentic AI and enterprise AI platforms.Build robust, scalable and secure cloud-native services with strong engineering practices around APIs, Git, CI/CD, testing, monitoring and observability.Work closely with data engineers, AI engineers, architects and business stakeholders to turn enterprise knowledge into usable AI capabilities. Requirements5+ years' experience in software engineering, data platforms, AI engineering or a related technical field.Strong hands-on Python backend development experience.Practical experience with RDF, OWL, SPARQL and SHACL.Proven experience building or operating Knowledge Graphs and Semantic Layers.Experience with Neo4j or other graph database technologies; experience with semantic platforms such as Stardog or metaphactory is advantageous.Experience with semantic search, retrieval architectures and/or OpenSearch.Hands-on experience with MCP, agent tooling or Agentic AI.Experience with APIs, CI/CD, Git and cloud-native engineering.Strong understanding of production software engineering, scalability, security and maintainability.Comfortable collaborating across engineering, architecture, data and business teams.
