About the roleWe're building a modern data platform from the ground up, and we're looking for a Analytics Engineer to help define how our company works with data.As an Analytics Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science. Your primary responsibility is to transform raw data into trusted, reusable, and well-documented datasets that power reporting, experimentation, machine learning, and business decision-making. This is not a dashboard development role. It is a software engineering role focused on data modeling, data quality, and creating scalable semantic layers for the entire organization.You'll be joining a growing Data Team consisting of Data Engineers and Data Scientists, working closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders. What you’ll doDesign and own our semantic layer using modern data modeling principlesBuild reusable, production-ready datasets that serve as shared sources of truth across the companyTranslate business requirements into scalable analytical datasetsImprove data quality through testing, documentation, and monitoringWork closely with Data Scientists to provide high-quality feature datasets for machine learningDrive best practices around SQL development, version control, documentation, and code reviewsCollaborate with Data Engineers on data pipelines and infrastructureHelp establish standards for analytics engineering across the company What we’re looking forHas several years of experience working with analytics engineering, data engineering, or advanced analyticsWrites excellent SQL and enjoys solving complex data problemsHas experience designing dimensional models, semantic layers, and reusable business modelsCan communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersEnjoys creating structure where none existsThinks long-term and values maintainability over quick fixesFluency in both Swedish and English is a requirement for this role Bonus experience:Banking, fintech, or financial servicesFeature engineeringData governance and metadata managementGoogle Cloud PlatformExperience with modern ELT frameworks such as SQLMesh or dbt What we offerHigh ownership, real impact, and a short path from idea to production.
