As we continue our exciting cloud transformation journey, we're looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our modern data platform from the ground up. You'll be essential in creating the data foundation that powers decision-making across our business and drives innovation in Nordic financial services.

We offer a hybrid remote work solution within Sweden, with occasional visits to our HQ in Helsingborg.

As a Senior Data Engineer at Resurs, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud transformation, working with cutting-edge AWS technologies to build scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions. You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders to transform how we leverage data to create value for our customers and drive business growth.

Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and architectures using modern AWS services and cloud-native technologiesBuild and implement scalable unified data platform solutions that support advanced analytics and data-driven decision makingEnsure data quality, governance, and security across all data flows, adhering to banking regulations and compliance requirementsPartner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable data productsDrive best practices for DataOps, monitoring, and automated data pipeline orchestrationMentor junior team members and contribute to the evolution of our data engineering standards and practicesLead technical decision-making for data architecture and tooling within assigned projects

A proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions in cloud environmentsStrong expertise with AWS data services (ECS, S3, Athena, and related services)Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouse architectures, optimization techniques, and transformation tools like dbtHands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CDK, or similar) and CI/CD pipelinesStrong Python skills for data processing and pipeline developmentExperience with data orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow, or similar)Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated industries

Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated financial industriesFamiliarity with containerization (Docker) and serverless architecturesBackground in agile development methodologies and DataOps practices

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detailProactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issuesCommitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging data technologies
