We're looking for a senior AI software engineer to own the generative AI stack behind the internal AI tooling at a fast-growing Abu Dhabi deep-tech company building data and analytics platforms for large government organisations. This isn't a demo-and-move-on AI team. You'll build the RAG pipelines, ship the models and run the deployments that real teams depend on every day. What you'll be doingDesigning and building robust RAG pipelines that wire LLMs into proprietary data sources, tuned for real accuracy and low latencyArchitecting and maintaining Apache Airflow DAGs for data ingestion, cleaning, embedding generation and model retrainingManaging and optimising vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate) for fast retrieval over high-dimensional embeddingsRunning internal LLM deployments end to end - hosting, scaling, versioning, GPU management and inference optimisation, holding ~99% uptimeTraining, fine-tuning and deploying deep-learning and LLM models to production, owning the full MLOps lifecycle from experiment to serving What you'll needDegree in computer science, software engineering or a related field9+ years in software engineering / ML / data science1+ year hands-on building of LLM applications and RAG pipelinesProduction experience with Python and databases (these are the non-negotiables)A solid foundation in linear algebra and statistics Bonus points forMSc in AI, ML or Data Science2+ years owning the full MLOps lifecycle in productionGPU/inference optimisation with vLLM or TensorRTAdvanced fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT)Open-source contributions to AI/MLOps librariesCloud AI certifications (AWS, GCP or Azure) The stack Python (must)· PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face· LangChain, LlamaIndex· Apache Airflow · Pinecone/Milvus vector DBs, SQL/NoSQL, semantic search· Docker, Kubernetes, vLLM, CI/CD · AWS/Azure/GCP.
