Role: Senior Firmware Engineer

Department: R&D / Engineering

Help design the next generation of professional security systems protecting millions of buildings and businesses worldwide. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will own critical parts of our ecosystem, including integration with sub-GHz devices, cloud services based on secure connectivity, and EN50131 Grade 3 compliant solutions. Your decisions will directly influence product architecture, cybersecurity, performance, and production readiness of devices deployed globally.

What You'll Be Working On

Integrating modern cybersecurity features into embedded devicesEnhancing secure firmware update and bootloader mechanismsOptimizing performance of embedded systemsBuilding product platforms shared across multiple devicesSolving real-time challenges in RTOS environmentsImplementation of API

Lead architectural decisions for critical firmware components and influence hardware design, communication protocols, and cybersecurity implementation across multiple product lines.Define Everon product family integration logic for EN50131 Grade3 compliant devices,Ensure the quality of the solution by working closely with the QA team and performing debugging and bug‑fixing activitiesSupport verification, validation, certification, and production processes with technical expertise.Collaborate with Product Management, Hardware, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams during development and troubleshooting.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and internal development guidelines.Work with global engineering teams across time zones to ensure consistent implementation and knowledge sharing.
