Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join the engineering team and play a key role in building and evolving customer-facing web applications. You will work across the full frontend development lifecycle, from translating product and design requirements into high-quality interfaces through to testing, deployment and continuous improvement. The role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to influence frontend architecture, engineering standards and the overall customer experience. You will work with modern web technologies, collaborating closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers to deliver reliable, accessible and high-performing financial products. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain high-quality, responsive and accessible customer-facing web applications.Develop scalable frontend features using JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.Translate product requirements and designs into intuitive, performant user experiences.Contribute to frontend architecture and make technical decisions around scalability, maintainability and performance.Work closely with Backend Engineers to integrate APIs and financial services into frontend applications.Write clean, testable and well-documented code, maintaining high engineering standards.Contribute to shared component libraries, reusable UI patterns and frontend development standards.Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability and developer experience.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions.Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering stakeholders to deliver features from concept through to production.Contribute to automated testing, monitoring and continuous delivery practices.Help mentor other engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture as the team continues to grow. RequirementsFrontend experience: Strong hands-on experience building modern web applications and user-facing interfaces in production or close-to-production environments.JavaScript & TypeScript: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience writing clean, scalable and well-documented code and delivering features end-to-end.Modern Frontend Technologies: Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries, ideally React, alongside familiarity with contemporary frontend architecture and development practices.FinTech Experience: Professional experience within the FinTech or financial services sector, with an understanding of financial products, regulatory considerations and integrations with financial data or payment systems.Product Mindset: Experience working closely with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into intuitive customer experiences.Engineering Quality: Strong understanding of testing, code quality, accessibility, performance and maintainable frontend architecture.API Integration: Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL or similar client-server technologies.Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.English: Professional fluency in English.
