The role manages initiatives based on demand intake and business-case development through planning, design, build, validation, deployment, hyper care, closure, and benefits realization.Working across Business, Quality, IT, manufacturing sites, cybersecurity, data, architecture, infrastructure, and external partners, the Sr. Project Manager establishes the structure, transparency, and decision discipline needed to deliver predictable outcomes. This is a hands-on project management role, not an administrative coordination position. The role must balance delivery speed with compliance, product quality, data integrity and adherence to company PMO standards & policies. The Project Manager must understand regulated delivery well enough to consider validation activities, obtain the required approvals, and raise risks early. Formal business, technical, and Quality decisions remain with the designated owners. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead assigned Quality & Compliance projects from demand approval through delivery, go-live, stabilization, and closure.Work with sponsors and Product Owners to confirm objectives, scope, requirements, success measures, funding, and responsibilities before execution.Build and maintain a practical project plan covering milestones, resources, budget, dependencies, supplier work, testing, validation, training, and deployment readiness.Create and maintain required PMO documents and reporting, including schedules, status reports, risks, issues, actions, decisions, and change requests.Lead cross-functional project teams, establish an effective meeting and governance cadence, follow up on commitments, and escalate matters that require management decisions.Use predictive, agile, or hybrid methods as appropriate. Support the Product Owner and Build Factory in maintaining a clear Azure DevOps backlog and following delivery standards.Plan validation and compliance work with the Business Process Owner, Technical Owner, and CSV Quality Representative. Ensure required approvals are obtained before production release without assuming the formal authority of those roles.Coordinate requirements, testing, user acceptance, data migration, training, site readiness, cutover, rollback planning, hyper care, and handover to support.Manage supplier deliverables, milestones, dependencies, performance, and changes. Ensure documentation and knowledge are transferred.Provide concise project updates to stakeholders and steering committees, clearly showing progress, forecast, budget, major risks, decisions, and support needed.Track agreed outcomes, complete project closure and lessons learned, and confirm that operational ownership is in place. Qualifications and Knowledge RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.At least eight years of project management experience, including five or more years independently leading medium-to-large IT or digital projects in a matrixed environment.Experience delivering projects in regulated manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another controlled environment, with working knowledge of regulated SDLC, GxP, and CSV or CSA principles, preferredPractical experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, changes, vendors, and executive reporting.Ability to lead cross-functional and distributed teams, influence without direct authority, resolve issues, and communicate clearly in English.Hands-on experience with project and collaboration tools. Experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Planview, Smartsheet, Jira, or comparable tools is acceptable.Experience working within a global manufacturing organization and coordinating deployments across multiple regions, sites, cultures, and time zones.Familiarity with IT service management, application lifecycle management, managed-service models, cybersecurity, privacy, and operational support transitions.PMP, PRINCE2, or a comparable project management certification.Agile, Scrum, change management, or Lean Six Sigma training or practical experience.
