The Role: We are seeking experienced Microsoft Dynamics ERP Consultants on behalf of our client to drive complex, enterprise-scale ERP implementations within the Energy & Utilities sector. In this role, you will join long-running, mission-critical customer projects—working at the intersection of business context, functional architecture, and technical implementation. You will operate with a solution-oriented, consultancy-minded approach. Rather than acting as a simple task executor, you will interface directly with business stakeholders and technical teams in large utility enterprises—translating intricate operational needs into scalable Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions, ensuring implementation continuity, and mitigating deployment risks over long project lifecycles. What we’re looking for: 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms (D365 Finance & Supply Chain / F&O or Business Central).Proven track record delivering ERP solutions tailored to energy suppliers, power distributors, renewables, or public utility enterprises (e.g., asset management, meter-to-cash workflows, regulatory compliance, field service).Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to lead discovery workshops, analyze complex business processes, and articulate clear technical recommendations to non-technical business leaders.Ability to bridge functional configuration with technical design—guiding data migration, interface design, integration testing, and release management.Demonstrated stability and effectiveness across long-term enterprise programs (12 to 24+ months) in distributed, fully remote project environments.Fluent professional communication skills (written and spoken) with a proactive approach to reporting progress, flagging dependencies, and managing scope.Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours), we are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones.
Nice-to-Have & Plus Skills Hands-on experience across both functional consulting and technical solution design (X++ customization, AL, or Power Platform extensions).Exposure to large-scale, multi-entity ERP transformations with long planning cycles and complex resource management setups.Familiarity with utility-specific integration frameworks, enterprise billing systems, or Azure-based data architectures.Experience operating within structured, distributed remote consulting practices with minimal onboarding friction.
Responsibilities: Lead and support functional and technical streams throughout full-lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics ERP rollouts for large utility clients.Translate domain-specific utility requirements into sustainable Microsoft Dynamics solution blueprints, functional design documents (FDDs), and technical specifications.Partner directly with client business unit leads, IT architects, and remote engineering teams to execute configuration, custom extension design, and system integrations.Act as a trusted consultant during client discussions—advising on industry best practices, identifying implementation risks, and proposing practical workarounds.Ensure high-quality documentation, maintain solution stability across long-term delivery phases (12–24 months), and facilitate seamless user adoption and testing cycles.
