Partnering with academia, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical companies, commercial laboratories, and forensic organisations, the team drives scientific advancement and improved outcomes across the region.In this role you will have responsibility for regional commercial performance, strategic growth initiatives, and leadership of a team of Account Managers. The role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic leadership, and collaboration with key internal teams to accelerate growth across QIAGEN's portfolio.You will play a valuable role in shaping the future growth strategy for the Nordics region, strengthening key customer partnerships, and expanding QIAGEN's market presence. As the business grows, there may be opportunities to broaden the scope of responsibility across the wider Nordics region and build additional leadership capabilities within the organisation. Your tasks:Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of Account Managers to achieve and exceed commercial objectives across Sweden, Norway and Finland.Driving sustainable revenue growth through strategic territory planning, opportunity identification, and execution of regional business plans.Monitoring commercial performance through KPI tracking, pipeline management, forecasting, and regular business reviews to ensure delivery against targets.Supporting the team to expand existing customer partnerships while identifying new business opportunities across Clinical Diagnostics and Life Sciences markets.Develop and expand KOL networks while establishing senior-level relationships with strategic customers and key decision-makers.Championing employee development through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and continuous capability building.Collaborating closely with Marketing, Field Application Specialists, Service, and Inside Sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and maximise business impact. Your profile:Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline; an advanced degree (PhD, MSc) or equivalent laboratory experience is advantageous.Sales leadership experience within the Life Sciences, Molecular Diagnostics, Biotechnology, Healthcare, or MedTech sectors.A proven track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth, managing complex sales cycles, and achieving ambitious commercial targets.Experience in selling molecular diagnostics, instrumentation, capital equipment, genomic technologies, or comparable solutions.Strong strategic planning, commercial acumen, and business development skills to identify market opportunities and drive growth initiatives.Proven experience of coaching, mentoring, and developing sales professionals to maximise performance, engagement, and career growth.Based in Sweden, Norway, or Finland and willing to travel extensively across the region (minimum 50%).
