Senior SAP Project Manager – 6 Month-Contract (with clear extension scope)Remote across Europe + Some European travel We are looking for experienced Senior SAP Project Managers to support a series of SAP implementation projects across Europe. This is an opportunity for experienced SAP delivery professionals who have genuinely managed implementations end-to-end, taking ownership from initial project planning and mobilisation through design, build, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare. The role requires strong project management fundamentals alongside enough SAP SD / Order-to-Cash exposure to understand the processes, work effectively with functional and technical teams and confidently manage customer stakeholders. About the roleAs Senior SAP Project Manager, you will take ownership of SAP implementation projects from initiation through to successful delivery and post-go-live stabilisation. You will manage multidisciplinary teams of SAP functional consultants, developers and technical resources, while acting as a key point of contact for the customer throughout the implementation.This is not a PMO or project coordination position. We are specifically looking for people who have taken genuine accountability for successful SAP project delivery, including the commercial, operational, technical and customer-facing elements of an implementation. You should be comfortable managing multiple workstreams, challenging stakeholders when required and maintaining control of the project across scope, budget, resources, risks and timelines. Key responsibilitiesOwn SAP implementation projects from initial planning and mobilisation through to go-live and hypercare.Define and manage project scope, delivery plans, milestones, timelines and dependencies.Take responsibility for project budgets, forecasting and commercial management.Plan and manage functional, technical and development resources throughout the implementation.Establish and maintain project governance, including RAID, risks, issues, actions and dependencies.Coordinate requirements, design, build and development activities across SAP workstreams.Manage project reporting and communicate progress, risks and decisions to senior stakeholders.Oversee SIT, UAT, testing governance and defect resolution.Lead cutover planning, deployment, go-live and post-production hypercare.Manage change requests and understand their impact on scope, budget, resources and timelines.Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and act as a trusted point of contact throughout the project. Ideal candidate profileSignificant experience managing complex SAP implementation projects.Evidence of delivering multiple full end-to-end SAP implementations.Strong understanding of SAP project delivery methodologies, including traditional approaches and/or SAP Activate.Experience personally managing project budgets, resources, plans, RAID, risk and governance.Strong customer-facing and senior stakeholder management experience.Comfortable managing SAP functional consultants, developers, architects and other technical resources.Experience working across SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.Must have enough SAP SD / Order-to-Cash exposure to understand the processes.Comfortable operating independently and taking genuine accountability for successful project delivery. Experience that would stand outPrevious experience delivering projects involving SAP SD / Order-to-Cash.Background within an SAP consultancy, Professional Services or customer-facing project environment.Experience delivering international or multi-country SAP implementations.Experience managing complex implementations with multiple functional and technical workstreams.Experience working directly with enterprise customers and senior business stakeholders.

The opportunity is open to experienced SAP Project Managers based anywhere across Europe and will be predominantly remote. Some European travel will be required depending on the customer, project and stage of implementation, particularly around key workshops, project milestones and go-live.
