Senior Site Reliability Engineer / Incident Commander About the OpportunityOur client is a fast-scaling AI infrastructure operator building out next-generation GPU compute campuses across multiple European countries, supporting some of the largest AI training and inference workloads in the region. They're in the middle of an aggressive multi-site build-out, six deployments across four countries in six months. As the platform grows from two to six live sites, the reliability function is being built out to match, this is an early opportunity to shape how that practice works. The RoleYou'll own reliability and incident response across a growing footprint of AI compute sites, working an on-call rota and stepping in as Incident Commander during live incidents. What You'll DoOwn uptime and reliability across live production infrastructure spanning multiple sitesLead incident response as Incident Commander during on-call rotationBuild and maintain runbooks and post-incident reviewsDefine and track SLOs across a growing infrastructure footprintWork closely with network, field engineering, and tooling teams to reduce incident recurrence What We're Looking ForStrong Linux and Kubernetes fundamentalsHands-on incident response experience, including leading live incidents (not just contributing)Experience with on-call tooling (PagerDuty, Opsgenie, or equivalent)Comfort working in a fast-scaling, multi-site environment Nice to HaveExperience with GPU/AI cluster infrastructure specificallyExperience building an SRE practice or rota from an early stage Why This RoleShape the reliability practice for a live, hypergrowth AI infrastructure build-out from an early stage, with real influence over how the SRE function is built as the team scales sixfold.
