Senior Software Engineer

Role Description The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and distributed systems that support client platforms and products. This full-time, on-site role is based in Lahore and involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering pods to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, well-tested code, performing code reviews, optimizing system performance, and implementing best practices in software architecture and object-oriented programming. The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with technical leads and clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions, contribute to architecture decisions, and support DevOps and automation initiatives. The role also involves mentoring team members, improving development processes, and ensuring delivery quality aligned with Code Graphers’ engineering standards. QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development with modern frameworks and tooling.Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with expertise in at least one major language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or Node.js).Experience designing scalable, secure, and reliable architectures for cloud-based or distributed systems.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing.Ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Prior experience in enterprise, SaaS, or product-based environments; exposure to domains such as healthcare, fintech, or e-commerce is a plus.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, contribute to technical design discussions, and work effectively in collaborative teams.
