About the AssignmentThe client is looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer for a critical consulting assignment supporting the development of next-generation business-critical systems within the public sector.The client is undergoing a major digital development journey and is developing the next generation of business-critical systems for target and case management. In this assignment, you will contribute to the development of subsystems for search functionality, initially focusing on Search Cases. You will work in an agile development team with both new development and further development of modern web applications. The role involves significant responsibility for analysis, breakdown, and planning of technical solutions within the team.The main focus is backend development, but you will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of your own code through:Unit testingIntegration testingLoad testingManual verificationThe development environment follows modern agile and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on automation of testing, builds, and deployments.
