Setting Out Engineer

I'm working on behalf of a client, a sub-contractor delivering steel works for large-scale data center construction project in Finland, who is looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join the team on a freelance basis in Finland. The role: Setting Out EngineerOwn setting-out for the civils/steelworks package reviewing models/drawings and directing the setting-out engineers on the groundManage RFIs through the document control system, working proactively ahead of the programmeAct as the technical link between the field team and the wider project Contract details:Location: FinlandContract: FreelanceDuration: 12 months initially, possible extension for another yearStart: 05/10/2026Hours: 10/12 hours/day, Monday to Friday (Saturday optional) Requirements:Solid experience as a Setting Out Engineer in civil projects (must have)Experience with sub-contractorData center experience preferred; strong groundworks/civils experienceFluent English essentialEU Passport holder (must-have)
