Key Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on GMP compliance, facility operations, and quality systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentCollaborate with laboratory teams to optimize processes, enhance compliance standards, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirementsSupport the organization in rectifying issues identified during FDA inspections and implement robust quality measuresLead initiatives to upgrade facility and process controls, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory expectationsWork closely with cross-functional teams, sharing your expertise to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence

Required Skills

Extensive experience as an SME in GMP, Quality Assurance, or Facility Management within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectorsProven track record of supporting GMP compliance, especially in environments transitioning from cosmetic to pharmaceutical manufacturingStrong understanding of regulatory standards such as FDA, EMA, and other relevant authoritiesAbility to analyze complex processes and implement practical, compliant solutionsExcellent communication skills in English; fluency in Swedish is highly desirable but not mandatory

Experience working with cosmetic and pharmaceutical product manufacturingPrevious involvement in FDA inspections and compliance remediationProject management capabilities and leadership experience in a GMP environmentKnowledge of laboratory quality systems and process optimization

Preferred Education And Experience

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related fieldsSenior-level expertise, with a minimum of 10+ years in quality assurance, GMP, or facility management rolesDemonstrated success in advisory or consultation roles within regulated manufacturing environments

Fully onsite position in Uppsala with minimal home workingAbility to start immediately or within a short notice periodWillingness to travel as needed within the region
