Software Architect

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to join an on-site development team in Mjölby, Sweden. You will take technical ownership of software architecture across a product area, combining strategic design work with hands-on support throughout the development lifecycle.This is a role for an architect who can turn high-level needs into clear, testable technical solutions; guide developers in applying architecture principles; and help ensure reliable releases, strong technical quality and long-term maintainability. The work includes software architecture at both node and module level, component selection, technical troubleshooting and support for production deployments.Key responsibilitiesGather, refine and maintain requirements for software architectures.Design, implement, verify, review and document software architecture at node and module level.Translate system, business and technical requirements into clear and verifiable objectives for products and solutions.Drive software design decisions, component selection and technical standards within the assigned area.Contribute to and maintain roadmaps for software platforms and architecture.Create, improve and apply development standards, guidelines, routines and technical procedures.Support, coach and train software developers in architecture principles, patterns and solutions.Take part in test strategy, verification and quality activities for the developed solutions.Monitor, maintain and further develop existing applications and software components.Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and technical investigations.Act as a technical contact for suppliers and external partners.Ideal candidate profileMaster’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or another relevant technical university degree.Proven experience in a Software Architect, Lead Developer, Senior Software Engineer or comparable technical leadership role.Very strong practical knowledge of C# and .NET.Strong experience with JavaScript and React.Experience designing, documenting and reviewing software architecture.Ability to turn requirements at different levels into practical, measurable and testable solution requirements.Ability to guide developers and promote consistent architecture, coding standards and development practices.Experience collaborating with suppliers, external partners and cross-functional development teams.Professional communication skills in Swedish and English - both languages are mandatory.ConditionsLocation: Mjölby, SwedenWork model: hybridProject duration: 12 October 2026 to 31 March 2027 with possibility of extensionEmployment type: B2B contract or Regular Employment - it is up to you!Benefits: Epassi benefits cardRecruitment stepsInterview with the Recruiter from KUBO - call or online meeting - up to 30 minutesInterview with the client (Probably 2 stages)Decision and feedback
