Role Focus: React/TypeScript Engineer (with DevOps & AI focus)Duration: 21/09/2026 - 31/12/2026 (Extension Possible)Location: Remote A leading global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced React/TypeScript Engineer to support the development and enhancement of modern web applications. This role combines frontend engineering, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted software development. Key Skills: Frontend Mastery: Deep expertise in React and TypeScript for developing and refactoring responsive web applications using component-based architectures. DevOps & Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and deployment through Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines to OpenShift environments. API & Security: Proven ability to integrate REST APIs and implement provided authentication/authorization mechanisms. Testing & Quality: Strong background in designing and implementing automated testing (unit, component, functional), as well as code-quality, dependency, and security checks within the pipeline. Nice to have: AI-Assisted Development: The candidate must be able to review, validate, and refactor frontend code generated by AI tools to improve functionality, maintainability, and security. They should treat AI output as a starting point, not production-ready code. Agentic Skills: Experience developing reusable coding-agent instructions and agentic skills to help transition generated code into standard templates. Cross-Functional Translation: Proven ability to work directly with non-technical application creators (like scientists) to translate their requirements into technical specifications. Backend Knowledge: Experience with Python-based backend services, particularly FastAPI, is highly beneficial. Documentation: Strong technical writing skills to create architectural documentation and final handover reports detailing source code, artifacts, testing, and remaining technical risks.
