Software Development Engineer – AWS / CloudLocation: UK / EU (Fully RemoteStart Date: ASAPContract: Long-term contractEngagement: B2B for EU | Inside IR35 for UKRate: Competitive / Open, depending on experienceProject: Platform Migration & Security Hardening About the RoleWe are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join a platform migration and security-hardening project. You will work on migrating an existing platform, setting up cloud environments and CI/CD, improving security, and supporting the platform through production. Key ResponsibilitiesMigrate and configure an existing application and codebase.Set up and manage AWS environments across development, staging and production.Build and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.Work with enterprise development and deployment platforms.Support security reviews and remediation of security findings.Implement SSO, RBAC and data encryption.Support monitoring, performance and resilience testing.Create and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.Work closely with software, cloud, infrastructure and security teams. RequirementsStrong experience as a Software Engineer, SDE, SRE or DevOps Engineer.Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.Good experience with CI/CD and production deployments.Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar tools.Experience with IAM, access control and cloud security.Experience supporting production environments and resolving technical issues.Good programming or scripting skills, such as Python, Java, Bash or similar. Tools ExperienceExperience working with one or more internal development, deployment or builder tools within a large enterprise engineering environment is required, such as: Brazil | Apollo | Coral | Kiro | BuilderHub | Ada | MCP | Similar / Alternative Tools Candidates should be able to clearly describe which tools they have used and how they used them, including their role in development, deployment, build, automation or operational workflows.
