Solutions Designer - Retrofit (M/F/D)*

Do you enjoy turning customer challenges into smart technical solutions?Join us as a Retrofit Solutions Designer and help existing customers maximise the performance and lifespan of their automated systems. You'll develop innovative upgrade concepts, evaluate technical options, create competitive proposals, and guide projects from initial idea through to handover.Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will combine technical expertise with commercial awareness to deliver solutions that meet customer needs, add long-term value, and support successful project delivery.

You lead customer opportunities from concept to handover, ensuring solutions meet customer expectations and project timelinesYou analyse customer requirements, challenge decision criteria, and turn data into practical logistics solutionsYou develop and evaluate solution concepts based on cost, performance, flexibility, risk, and long-term valueYou create high-level material flow designs, investment estimates, and business cases for proposed solutionsYou define logistics processes, technical requirements, and scope of supply in collaboration with internal stakeholdersYou coordinate concept reviews, customer workshops, pricing activities, and proposal developmentYou ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and customer requirementsYou support projects through implementation and handover, working closely with engineering and realisation teams to ensure successful delivery

You have experience in logistics automation design or similar environments and have good knowledge of mechanics and controlsYou can analyse and understand customer business processesYou can produce concise and clear customer/internal presentationsYou have great communication and presentation skills, verbal and in writing, in both English and SwedishYou have a market-oriented mindset (customer benefits before technology restrictions)You have a results-, cost-effectiveness-, and solutions-oriented mindsetYou are able to travel within the Nordics and Northern Europe to support the other entities and to work in a multi-disciplinary and intercultural experts’ network.
