Sourcing Lead, Technology & SaaS

Our global (and Helsinki-based) partner is looking for a Sourcing Lead, Technology & SaaS to join its Technology Procurement team on a temporary maternity leave cover. Role SummaryThe role is responsible for managing procurement, negotiation, renewal, and governance of enterprise IT and Security SaaS across the organization. The role acts as the commercial DRI for the Group Security unit, while also overseeing the broader IT SaaS portfolio. The ideal candidate has around 5 years of experience in Technology Sourcing, with hands-on SaaS sourcing experience. Cybersecurity sourcing experience is preferred but not required. Core ResponsibilitiesManage sourcing projects and strategic renewals across IT and Security SaaSLead commercial negotiations covering pricing, licensing, term structure, renewals, amendments, and contract consolidationsApply knowledge of contractual terms, commercial levers, and SaaS category best practicesConduct market research and translate insights into sourcing and negotiation plansPartner with Legal, Privacy, Finance, Security, IT, and business stakeholdersEvaluate vendor proposals, pricing structures, commercial models, and associated riskIdentify opportunities for cost control, contract standardization, and procurement disciplineManage vendor escalations, offboarding risk, and performance issuesSupport cross-entity alignment across the GroupContribute to sourcing tools, playbooks, team standards, and ways of working What We're Looking ForMust-have:4–5 years of experience in Technology SourcingHands-on experience with SaaS sourcingExperience in sourcing/procurement or SaaS Vendor ManagementUnderstanding of SaaS pricing, licensing, renewals, and commercial models Highly preferred:Experience with Cybersecurity / Security SaaS sourcingKnowledge of Security sourcing and working with cybersecurity teams Role DetailsContract: Temporary maternity leave coverWorking model: HybridFinnish language: Not requiredReporting to: Category Manager, Technology
