We are looking for a Specialist, Marine Currency Hedging and Cash Management to join our Marine Currency Hedging and Cash Management team in Marine Financial Business Services. In this role, your responsibility will be to support effective foreign exchange risk management and hedge accounting across the Marine business.

The preferred location for this permanent position is Vaasa, Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work. You will report to Manager, Marine Currency hedging and Cash Management.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Specialist, Marine Currency Hedging and Cash Management your main responsibilities are:

Identify and mitigate foreign exchange (FX) risk in commercial projects and transactional business by analyzing currency exposuresExecute currency hedging transactions in cooperation with Group Treasury in accordance with internal policies and guidelinesForecast and monitor incoming and outgoing project related paymentsEnsure timely execution of currency hedging activities and related reportingEnsure efficient cash flow hedging in compliance with IFRS hedge accounting requirementsSupport and advise Sales, Project Management, Purchase organization and other Marine business stakeholders on foreign exchange risk mattersParticipate in cash management and accounts receivable reporting activitiesDevelop and implement tools and processes to enhance currency hedging practices within the responsibility area

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fieldMinimum 3 years of work experience in currency risk management and financeGood understanding of foreign exchange rate risk and hedging instrumentsGood understanding of cash management principles and processesGood understanding of financial accounting in an international business environmentGood business and financial understanding with analytical mindsetExcellent knowledge of SAPExcellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelStrong interest in developing and improving processes and reporting using AI and RPA technologies
