Strategic Supply Chain Developer

Lindab is looking for a Strategic Supply Chain Developer to join our Group Strategic Supply Chain team. The role combines inventory management with group-wide supply chain analytics and development, offering the opportunity to work with both operational improvements and strategic initiatives. You will report to the Strategic Supply Chain Manager and work closely with the Inventory Manager & Data Analyst. The role will be divided approximately equally between Inventory Management and Strategic Supply Chain Analytics and can be based in either Grevie or Malmö.

As a Strategic Supply Chain Developer, you will transform data into reliable analytical and operational solutions, actionable insights and recommendations that support better business decisions. You will work with information from different companies, business systems and supply chain functions, covering areas such as inventory, sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation and distribution.

Within Strategic Supply Chain Analytics, you will contribute to group-wide analyses of Lindab's supply chain footprint and product flows. This includes understanding where products are purchased, produced, stored and sold, identifying opportunities for improvement and support in implementation of these opportunities. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Purchasing, Sales and IT.

Within Inventory Management, you will analyse performance and support Lindab companies in developing their processes, systems and ways of working. Together with the Inventory Manager, you will examine stock levels, availability, demand patterns, planning parameters and replenishment settings. You will also contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing tied-up capital while maintaining appropriate availability and service levels.

A central part of the role is developing analytical solutions and supportive tools for Lindab from underlying business and ERP data. You will work across the full process, from collecting, validating and structuring data to creating data and semantic models, defining business logic and developing clear reports and decision-support tools. You will also contribute to data-quality improvements, master-data development, documentation and the automation of recurring analytical activities.

Who we are looking for

We welcome candidates with strong analytical and technical capabilities and a solid understanding of supply chain, business intelligence, inventory management, logistics, or data development. You have a master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science or equivalent in a related field.

You have strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills and are interested in how data, systems, processes and business decisions interact. You understand the principles of databases, data modelling, semantic models and business intelligence and have the ability to present complex findings in a clear and practical way. Experience in developing analytical solutions, working with ERP data or using programming and automation tools is a merit. Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English are required.

To succeed in this role

You are curious, structured and motivated by solving business problems through data and technology. You are comfortable developing complete solutions rather than only creating reports from existing models. You can move between technical development and supply chain analysis, take ownership of your work and translate complex data into practical recommendations. Comfortable working independently when needed while collaborating effectively across functions, companies, and countries. The role requires flexibility to work from both Grevie and Malmö as needed, based on business priorities and meeting requirements.
