Sustainability Reporting & Product Development InternFull-time | Unpaid | Start as soon as possible | Minimum 4 months, preferably 6 months | Stockholm / Remote / Hybrid About Format GreenFormat Green is a Stockholm-based sustainability-tech company developing a digital platform for sustainability reporting, supplier follow-up and ESG data collection.Our platform helps small and medium-sized companies collect sustainability data, create policies and targets, and produce structured reporting based on the VSME standard. Our goal is to make sustainability reporting practical, useful and less dependent on expensive consulting processes.We are now looking for an intern to support the continued development and testing of the platform. About the internshipThis is a full-time, unpaid internship for someone who understands sustainability reporting and wants to help build a digital product around it.This is not a software developer position, and coding experience is not required. Your main task will be to translate sustainability reporting requirements into clear questions, platform logic, workflows, guidance texts and reporting outputs.You will work directly with our sustainability specialists, product developer and software developer. Our development process uses AI-assisted workflows, rapid prototyping and continuous testing.A significant part of the internship will involve testing complete user flows, identifying unclear logic, documenting problems and verifying that improvements work correctly. What you will work withTranslating VSME and ESG reporting requirements into practical platform logicStructuring questions, answer options, calculations, guidance texts and reporting outputsReviewing and improving user flows from an SME perspectiveTesting new platform features and complete reporting processesIdentifying bugs, gaps, inconsistencies and unclear instructionsDocumenting test results and retesting implemented improvementsSupporting rapid prototyping and AI-assisted product developmentWorking with the development team to turn sustainability methodology into a scalable digital product Who we are looking forYou should have a background or strong interest in sustainability reporting and digital product development.You must have:Good understanding of sustainability reportingStrong written EnglishA structured and independent way of workingAbility to turn complex requirements into clear and practical contentInterest in digital tools, automation, AI and product developmentAbility to work in a small team where the product is developing quicklyRelevant knowledge or experience includes:VSME, CSRD, ESRS or GRIClimate risk (GIS)ESG data collection and reporting processesClimate reporting and Scope 1, Scope 2 or Scope 3 calculationsSustainability policies, targets and governanceProduct development, UX, app development or digital toolsSoftware or platform testingSwedish is useful but not required.
