The roleThe SW/HW Group Delivery Lead is responsible for leading software development, integration, release management, and supplier coordination activities for Door Control Functions and related ECUs across multiple project variants. The role acts as the primary technical interface towards suppliers, driving delivery planning, technical reviews, issue resolution, risk management, and release readiness while ensuring alignment across software, hardware, and system teams. The position requires strong software delivery leadership supported by a sound understanding of ECU hardware development and integration. Key Responsibilities:Software (Primary):Lead software development, integration, verification, and release activities.Coordinate supplier software deliveries, maturity tracking, and integration readiness.Lead SW Joint Reviews, diagnostics reviews, cybersecurity reviews, and software quality assessments.Drive software verification, defect management, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.Ensure compliance with VPDS, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, and release governance requirements. Hardware (Secondary):Coordinate hardware deliverables, design reviews, and validation activities.Support hardware integration, prototype readiness, and issue resolution.Ensure alignment between hardware, software, and system-level requirements. Supplier Coordination:Act as the primary technical interface towards ECU suppliers.Drive technical reviews, delivery planning, milestone tracking, and release readiness.Monitor supplier risks, quality, dependencies, and corrective actions.Secure alignment between supplier deliverables and program objectives. Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.Minimum 8+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development, Integration, and Release Management.Strong understanding of automotive software lifecycle, AUTOSAR, diagnostics, and ECU software architecture.Experience with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and Diagnostics protocols.Experience in software verification, HIL testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting.Good understanding of ECU hardware architecture, vehicle electrical systems, and hardware development processes.Basic to intermediate knowledge of hardware validation, component verification, and hardware integration activities.Experience with CANoe, vTestStudio, Jira, Confluence, Teamcenter, CarWeaver, Planisware, and related engineering tools.Understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and ISO 21434 Cybersecurity requirements.Strong supplier management, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
