System Engineer, Internal Operations

Working as a System Engineer in Internal Operations

You will join one of the teams within Internal Operations that builds and maintains the platforms, tools, and services our development organization depends on every day. The team’s responsibility spans service management platforms, the Atlassian ecosystem, enterprise integrations, and the tooling that ties them together. We treat our platforms as products - always evolving, always in dialogue with the people who use them.

You will work across the full range of what the team owns: configuring and improving platforms, developing integrations between enterprise systems, supporting migrations, and collaborating with stakeholders from development teams, IT, and country organizations to understand their needs and deliver solutions that work in practice.

We are looking for someone with broad technical curiosity, the flexibility to pick up new tools and domains quickly, and the drive to take ownership across the full breadth of what the team delivers.

Your main responsibilities will most likely include:

Configuring, maintaining, and improving service management platforms - including workflows, automation rules, SLAs, and portals. Developing integrations that connect platforms with surrounding systems such as CRM, monitoring tools, and development tooling through APIs and automation. Supporting migrations Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to understand service needs, adapt configurations, and make rollouts smooth. Documenting configurations, processes, and runbooks so the team and stakeholders can follow along. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, balancing short-term fixes with long-term platform health.

In addition to these abilities, we also want you to:

Have a Bachelor's or master's degree within engineering, IT, or similar with a strong academic record. Have a technical background - you are comfortable working with code, scripts, APIs, or automation tools. Have experience with or a strong interest in service management platforms and ITSM concepts. Be someone who thrives in a project environment with several parallel workstreams, where you switch between configuration, integration work, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.

We consider it a great asset if you

Have experience with the Atlassian ecosystem - Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, or related tools. Have worked with ITSM frameworks or processes such as ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request). Have experience building integrations between enterprise systems using REST APIs, middleware, or scripting. Speak more languages than those required above. Have interests besides school and work, such as sports, music, board games, computer games, singing, or flying.
