System Security Specialist

Job Title: System Security ResearcherLocation: Helsinki, Finland Our client are a semiconductor company looking for a System Security Researcher to work on-site at their office in Helsinki. Responsibilities• Research and develop AI/ML solutions for platform security• Apply Machine Learning to anomaly detection, threat intelligence and access control• Contribute to security architecture research for future computing platforms• Work with multidisciplinary software, hardware and security teams• Publish research and drive innovation projects Requirements• PhD in Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or similar• Strong understanding of neural networks, transformers and modern ML techniques• Experience applying AI/ML to real-world problems• Good understanding of operating systems and computer architecture• Strong English communication skills• Interest in industrial research environments Desirable• Security, cryptography or cybersecurity experience• Threat intelligence or anomaly detection knowledge• Low-level software development in C, C++ or Rust• Experience with hypervisors, embedded systems or OS internals• Hardware architecture knowledge• CTF or practical security research experience If this looks of interest, please apply or reach out to daniel@microtech-global.com for more information.
