System Administrator RegOpen IPwww.regopenip.com RegOpen IP is seeking a System Administrator to maintain and develop the company’s technical infrastructure. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the daily operation, security, and reliability of the systems supporting our trademark management platform and internal operations. You will work with both internal users and external suppliers and report to the company’s technical or operational lead. The role As System Administrator, you will be responsible for keeping our technical environment stable, secure, and well maintained. The role covers servers, networks, cloud environments, user accounts, access management, backups, monitoring, and the technical services surrounding our platform. You will also support the continued development of our infrastructure by implementing technical changes in a controlled manner, troubleshooting incidents, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with external service providers. Main responsibilities Administer servers, networks, cloud environments, user accounts, access controls, and identity management, including security updates and ongoing maintenance.Monitor uptime, backups, logs, system performance, and other critical infrastructure to maintain reliable day-to-day operations.Support the trademark management platform and related tools, including incident handling, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and implementation of system changes.Coordinate hosting, domains, email services, and third-party integrations, working with external suppliers where required.Assist with data protection measures, information-security practices, and technical documentation for audit requests where required. What we're looking for We are looking for someone with documented experience as a System Administrator or in a similar technical operations role. You should be comfortable taking responsibility for business-critical systems and working independently in an environment where reliability, security, and careful handling of information are important. You should have experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments, cloud services, DNS, email systems, backup routines, and general system administration. A good understanding of network security, firewalls, access policies, and identity management is also important.The role requires structured working methods and the ability to produce clear technical documentation. As our systems contain confidential client and case information, discretion and responsible handling of data are essential. Fluent English is required. Additional languages are an advantage. Preferred qualifications Experience with web applications, databases, or case-management systems would be valuable, as would familiarity with GDPR and information-security practices. Experience with scripting or automation for routine system-administration tasks is also an advantage. Terms This is a permanent role. Location and working arrangement will be agreed with the selected candidate, and compensation will be based on experience.
