We are looking for a talented Tableau Platform & Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team for a leading international organization in the technology sector. 🔍What are we looking for?• 5+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, analytics platforms, information systems or related fields.• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Tableau Server in enterprise or multi-environment settings.• 3+ years of experience developing Tableau dashboards, reports, workbooks, published data sources and extracts.• Strong experience supporting production BI services, troubleshooting incidents, performing root-cause analysis and creating technical documentation.• Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and collaborate within geographically distributed and multicultural teams.• Excellent communication, analytical and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused and results-oriented approach.• Good level of English (minimum B2). 💡SkillsEssential:• Tableau Server / Tableau Services Manager (TSM)• Tableau Desktop• Tableau Prep Builder and/or Tableau Prep Conductor• SQL and relational databases• Dashboards, workbooks, extracts and published data sources• User, group, permission, license, schedule and subscription management• Data refresh and production BI troubleshooting• BI security, access control and content governance• Change management, release validation and technical documentation• Integration with relational databases, CSV, Excel, shared folders, APIs and cloud services Desirable:• Tableau Server upgrades, backup/restore concepts and environment validation• Python, PowerShell, Tableau REST API, Tableau Metadata API or tabcmd• Extract design, database views and performance tuning• AWS Athena or comparable cloud query services• Metadata management, data catalogues, lineage and BI asset governance• Confluence and Git• Agile and ITIL practices• Microsoft Power BI, semantic models, data refresh configuration, workspace administration and Microsoft 365/Azure services• Tableau, ITIL, Scrum, PRINCE2 Agile or equivalent certifications 🛠️What will your main responsibilities be?• Administer Tableau Server sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, licenses, ownership, schedules, subscriptions, extracts and published content.• Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards, reports, workbooks and data sources, ensuring performance, usability, accessibility and maintainability.• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into solution designs, prototypes and maintainable BI solutions.• Monitor reporting and data refresh processes, investigating failures, stale data, broken connections, subscription issues and execution problems.• Troubleshoot Tableau Prep flows and source-to-report refresh chains, including dependencies across multiple data sources.• Prepare and support Tableau platform upgrades, including readiness assessments, testing, implementation support and post-upgrade validation.• Manage service requests related to access, licenses, permissions, sites, projects and report availability.• Produce and maintain operating procedures, runbooks, inventories, usage and license reports, technical documentation and knowledge-base content.• Collaborate with data architects, BI engineers, DevOps specialists, infrastructure and database teams, as well as business stakeholders. 🏆What do we offer?• 💼 B2B collaboration• 📅 Initial 6-month engagement, with possibility of extension• 🏠 Remote working option• 🌍 Opportunity to work in an international and multicultural environment Join a team of Nexters solving real technical challenges on projects with a direct impact on top-tier clients.
