Position: Technical Sales SpecialistWe are looking for an experienced scientist for a full-time Technical Sales Specialist position, with a strong background in electrochemistry (at the academic level) and a talent for advising on solutions. The Technical Sales Specialist will provide customers (mostly scientists and researchers) with technical and sales support. This person will be a key point of contact for customers, answering queries, issuing quotations, providing technical advice, and demonstrating how to use our highly specialised products. We are looking for someone who understands and follows the sales philosophy that selling means helping the customer find the best solution, not convincing them to buy more. The person in this position will be thoroughly trained to perform tasks, handle products, and understand their construction. Key Responsibilities:Preparing quotations and pro forma invoices.Replying to emails and virtual assistant queries on product selection and setup configuration.Giving online demonstrations, training, and presentations to help customers discover and understand products.Liaising with existing clients.Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support.Preparing graphical and video manuals.Staying up to date on competitive offers.Following redox.me organisational culture, adhering to policies and procedures.Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications:You have a PhD in electrochemistry or have demonstrably gained equivalent knowledge in another way, e.g., through workplace experience in an electrochemistry lab. Very strong written and spoken English skills are essential. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability. Other requirements include strong technical, research, and analytical skills; organisational, communication, and listening skills (including the ability to explain clearly, listen to client feedback, and relay it to colleagues); humility; honesty; and a high personal culture.
