Location: Gothenburg/Säve, Sweden – on-siteStart date: 26 October 2026Project duration: until 31 March 2027 Design Consulting is looking for experienced Test Engineers – Adaptive Testing to support automotive test and validation activities across Europe.You will work with development vehicles, performing adaptive-testing activities, collecting test data and reporting technical issues. This assignment requires availability to travel across Europe for extended periods. Key responsibilities:Perform vehicle testing and validation during adaptive-testing activitiesParticipate in test campaigns across EuropeCollect and analyse vehicle dataDocument and report technical issues to the Issue ManagerSupport the identification and investigation of vehicle problemsEnsure accurate and thorough test reportingWork independently while collaborating with international engineering teams Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent testing experienceAutomotive testing or vehicle-validation experienceExperience with diagnostic tools such as CANalyzerFamiliarity with automotive software structuresStrong reporting and documentation skillsValid category B driving licenceFluent EnglishSwedish is an advantageMandarin is considered a plusStrong self-leadership and communication skillsAvailability for frequent and extended business travel across Europe Interested candidates can apply by sending an updated CV and indicating their earliest availability and expected hourly rate.
