The organisation is focused on creating engaging, user-centric web stores and is seeking a talented UI Designer to support a range of digital commerce projects.About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a creative UI Designer to contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality web-based products. You will work closely with UX specialists and development teams to create intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces that enhance the customer journey across multiple eCommerce platforms.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build user interfaces for web stores and digital commerce platforms.Collaborate closely with UX teams to translate user insights into effective design solutions.Work alongside developers to ensure designs are delivered accurately and meet agreed specifications.Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches to improve the user experience.Support the creation and maintenance of design assets and user interface components.Ensure visual consistency across digital products and platforms.Desired Skills and ExperienceAt least 3 years of experience designing high-quality web-based products.Strong proficiency with industry-standard design tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.Solid understanding of website structure, functionality and responsive design principles.Experience working closely with UX and development teams throughout the product lifecycle.Strong communication skills, including Intermediate-level verbal English.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.A portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of web design projects and showcasing design expertise.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for creating engaging user experiences.Summary of the Best CandidateThe ideal candidate will be an experienced UI Designer with a minimum of three years' experience creating engaging and user-friendly web applications or eCommerce solutions. You will possess strong visual design skills, excellent knowledge of modern design tools and a portfolio that demonstrates the successful delivery of web-based projects.You will be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, balancing multiple assignments and applying user-centred design principles to create exceptional digital experiences. Experience within eCommerce or digital agency environments would be highly advantageous.
