Join us as a UX Designer for a one-year parental leave cover and help shape Stena Recycling’s customer portal, used by thousands of customers across five countries. Working closely with our UX colleagues, product owners and developers, you will turn user insights into intuitive digital services—from research and early concepts to prototypes, final designs and continuous improvements.You will play a key role in shaping both the user experience and visual design of our digital products and services, from discovery and research to interaction design, prototyping and final UI design. You understand what drives people to take the actions they do and learn from that information to create a seamless and satisfying user experience. Working with us We are three product teams that together develop Stena Recycling's customer portal - a service used by thousands of customers in five countries. You will mainly be part of the Online Recycling Services product team, responsible for digital services that help customers manage recycling, waste collection and related operational workflows in their daily operations. Together with Product Owners, developers and designers across the customer portal, you will create digital experiences that simplify customers' daily work, increase the value they get from Stena Recycling's services and contribute to a consistent customer experience across products and markets. In this role, you will: Conduct user research to understand user needs Develop user journeys and other user-centered artifacts to illustrate insights and guide design decisions Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces Contribute to and evolve our design system Collaborate closely with Product Owners and developers to transform customer needs into digital solutions Continuously test, iterate and improve user experience Contribute to the continuous development of design practices and ways of working. We are seeking a UX designer who is/has: Problem-solving attitude A team player with great communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbally and written Comfortable taking initiative and driving design work forward in close collaboration with the team. Curious and empathetic, with a genuine interest in understanding users and turning feedback into better experiences. Interested in creating digital services that support a more circular and sustainable future. You also have: BSc in Design, Computer Science or a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role Experience working with user research Experience working with UI design and visual design Proficient in Figma design software or similar A strong portfolio of design projects Experience working in product teams Hope we have caught your attention.
