Title: Vice President of Data/Cloud & Semiconductor Logistics (Business Unit Head) Location: Mainland Europe Company:A global logistics provider focused on engineering faster, smarter and leaner supply chains, heavily investing in the data infrastructure boom and the logistics demands that enable it. Responsibilities:Defining the business unit's market strategy.Owning regional execution, including resource planning, target setting, activity planning and delivery timelines.Building and developing influential relationships across the tech ecosystem, including OEMs, cloud providers, infrastructure organisations, electronics manufacturers and digital platforms.Developing relationships with industrial technology manufacturers, capital equipment providers, engineering organisations, automation and robotics companies, data centre construction businesses and energy sector stakeholders.Bringing supply chain innovation, digital transformation and automation-led solutions to customer discussions.Acting as the voice of the customer and ensuring market requirements inform the business unit's value propositions, solutions and growth roadmap.Identifying and developing new business opportunities across targeted subsectors.Building and articulating value-led propositions, including solution design inputs, commercial models, pricing strategies, customer business cases and transformation programmes.Coordinating and influencing the end-to-end strategic sales cycle.Working with solutions, operations, engineering, automation, finance, IT and business development teams to ensure effective opportunity development and execution.Partnering with customer success and account teams to retain, expand and deepen existing customer relationships.Identifying opportunities for innovation-led value creation and strategic account development.Supporting regional sales teams in identifying, developing and securing new business wins.Helping build pipeline growth across the targeted Data Infrastructure markets.Sharing market intelligence, coaching sales teams and embedding best practices across the region.Monitoring market developments including automation, robotics, AI-enabled supply chains, sustainability, reshoring, nearshoring and changing customer operating models. Requirements:Established network and strong credibility within the Technology sector.Experience working with global technology companies, equipment manufacturers, engineering organisations or enterprise network providers.Strong understanding of Technology Infrastructure, telecommunications, networks and industrial supply chains.Knowledge of high-value inventory management, manufacturing support logistics, field-service logistics, production continuity, aftermarket and spare-parts operations.Experience in inventory optimisation and automation-enabled logistics environments.Strong understanding of customer challenges relating to supply chain resilience, manufacturing continuity, speed to market, sustainability, cost optimisation, regionalisation and nearshoring.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organisations.Executive presence and confidence representing a global supply chain solutions provider externally.Experience developing go-to-market strategies, market assessments and customer growth plans.Ability to position as a strategic partner through a consultative, solution-led approach.Strong commercial and strategic sales capability, with experience developing high-value pipelines and complex opportunities.Highly collaborative and entrepreneurial approach.Ability to work effectively across multiple countries, functions and global teams.Experience using Salesforce CRM or a similar commercial platform.Fluency in English is required. Additional European language skills would be advantageous. Working arrangement:The successful candidate will be based in mainland Europe and operate through a hybrid or home-office model, with travel across Europe and globally as required.
