Aerothermal & Propulsion Engineer - Fully Remote - Long term B2B / Freelancing contract Amazing opportunity to join a pioneer of the Space and Satellite industry in a critical long term protect as an experienced Aerothermal & Propulsion Engineer. It's a unique role allowing you to take ownership over development of advanced Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) platforms. Contract: 6 month rolling Location: Completely remote To be successful in this role you must have proven expertise as either a Aerothermal or Propulsion engineer in the Aerospace industry. Key Skills / Responsibilities: Aerothermodynamic and thermal analysis of Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) spacecraftAnalyse aeroheating, aerodynamic forces, aerostability and atmospheric interactionsDevelop and apply rarefied-flow and high-temperature gas-dynamics modelsAssess spacecraft thermal behaviour and environmental effects in VLEODefine and consolidate spacecraft propulsion subsystem requirements and architecturesEvaluate and support the maturation of electric propulsion technologies for VLEOAnalyse interfaces between propulsion, thermal control, mission operations and spacecraft performanceIdentify key design drivers, technology limitations and operational constraintsSupport mission performance, survivability and long-duration VLEO assessmentsReview engineering analyses, simulations and technical deliverablesProvide technical coordination with external partners and subcontractorsContribute to design reviews and Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR)Support the convergence of spacecraft designs toward robust, optimized mission configurations This is a project critical decision with interviews available immediately so if interested please apply immediately
