Asset Manager | Wind EnergySalary: 45,000 to 55,000 SEK per monthLocation: Umea, SwedenContract: Full-time, PermanentSector: Renewable Energy / Wind Power The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Asset Manager to join an established renewable energy organisation and take responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of a portfolio of wind energy assets. Based in Umea, you will act as an owner's representative across the wind farms under your management, working closely with O&M contractors, grid operators, suppliers, investors, regulatory authorities and other key stakeholders. This is a varied position combining asset performance, commercial and contract management, technical coordination, budgeting, HSE and stakeholder management, with regular travel to operational wind farm sites. Key Responsibilities Asset & Operational Performance Take responsibility for the overall operational performance of wind farm assets, including energy production, availability and failure ratesMonitor SCADA data, alarms, downtime and production performanceAnalyse KPI performance and identify opportunities to improve asset availability and outputPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual operational reportsSupport performance improvement and optimisation initiatives across the portfolio Commercial & Contract Management Manage key agreements including O&M contracts, PPAs, grid connection agreements and service contractsMonitor contractor and supplier performance against contractual obligationsSupport claims, negotiations and commercial discussionsParticipate in supplier tendering and cost-reduction initiativesPrepare and manage budgets, monitor OPEX and review expenditure Technical & O&M Coordination Coordinate and oversee O&M contractors and monitor contractual performanceReview preventative maintenance plans and major fault resolution strategiesSupport the investigation and resolution of significant technical issuesDrive technical improvement and asset performance enhancement projectsWork closely with technical partners to maximise long-term asset performance Compliance & HSE Ensure assets operate in accordance with relevant Swedish legislation, permits and environmental requirementsSupport the implementation and ongoing management of HSE systemsIdentify and manage operational and site-based risksCoordinate safety training and participate in audits Stakeholder Management Act as an owner's representative and develop strong working relationships with: Investors and shareholdersGrid operatorsGovernment and regulatory authoritiesLandowners and local communitiesContractors, suppliers and other external partners About YouWe are looking for an experienced renewable energy professional with a strong understanding of wind farm operations and the ability to combine technical knowledge with commercial and operational responsibility. Ideally, you will have: A Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related disciplineAt least 3 years' relevant professional experienceExperience within wind asset management, wind O&M, renewable energy project management, electricity markets or power salesGood knowledge of wind farm operations and associated technical systemsStrong analytical skills and confidence working with operational and performance dataCommercial awareness and experience working with contracts, suppliers or budgetsKnowledge of the Nord Pool electricity market would be advantageousA proactive, accountable and detail-oriented approachStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel regularly to wind farm sitesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider teamFluent Swedish and English are required for this position.
