AWS Platform Architect

Role: AWS Platform ArchitectExperience: 10+ Years Work location: Malmo, Sweden (Hybrid work mode)Duration: Long-term We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud environments, with a particular focus on large-scale migrations, landing zone architecture, and handling a significant number of AWS accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS best practices, security, and cost optimization.Mandatory hands-on experience with Rust and a basic understanding of Rust fundamentalsSolution Architecture & Design: Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native architectures on AWS.Create high-level and low-level architecture design documents (HLD/LLD).Conduct architecture reviews and ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework. Multi-Account Governance & Strategy:Design and manage AWS multi-account environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.Define and enforce SCPs (Service Control Policies), guardrails, and governance standard. Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and security controls.Security & Compliance: Implement IAM best practices including RBAC, least privilege access. Design secure network architecture (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, VPN, Direct Connect). Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC2, PCI, etc. – if applicable).DevOps & Automation: Architect Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation/CDK). Design CI/CD pipelines using AWS native or third-party tools.Automate deployments and configuration management.Cost Optimization & Performance: Implement cost governance strategies using AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, and Savings Plans.Design high-availability and disaster recovery strategies (RTO/RPO definition). Conduct performance tuning and optimization.
