At Evitec Solutions, we help financial institutions build and operate secure, resilient, and compliant cloud platforms. We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to strengthen our Azure practice and help drive cloud transformation for customers in the financial sector.
In this role, you will combine enterprise architecture, cloud governance, hands-on solution development, technical leadership, and customer advisory work. You will work closely with customers, delivery teams, and sales to design, build, and continuously improve modern Azure platforms and cloud services.
What You'll Do
Design enterprise-scale Azure architectures, landing zones, and cloud platformsDefine cloud governance, security, and operating modelsDesign and implement Azure-based services and solutions together with delivery teamsLead architecture decisions and establish cloud standards, guardrails, and best practicesGuide customers in cloud adoption, modernization, and transformation initiativesDefine and implement governance controls using Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC, and policy-as-code approachesDesign secure identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID and Zero Trust principlesEnsure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and DORADrive cloud cost optimization and FinOps practicesMentor colleagues and help grow Evitec's Azure architecture capabilitiesSupport customer engagements and pre-sales activities as a trusted advisor
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud architectureExperience designing enterprise-scale Azure platforms and landing zonesStrong understanding of cloud governance, security architecture, and operating modelsExperience with Microsoft Entra ID, identity governance, RBAC/PIM, Conditional Access, and privileged access conceptsExperience with Azure Policy, Management Groups, and subscription governanceHands-on experience building cloud-native and infrastructure solutions in AzureExperience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or BicepUnderstanding of platform engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD practicesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud solutionsFluent Finnish and strong English skills

Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale platform architectureCloud governance and policy managementMicrosoft Entra ID and identity architectureConditional Access, PIM, Identity Governance, and Zero TrustAzure networking and hybrid connectivity architecturesPlatform engineering and developer enablementInfrastructure as Code and automationCloud-native application platforms and integration servicesMonitoring, observability, and operational excellenceFinOps and cloud cost managementRegulatory compliance in financial services
Bonus Experience
