We provide expert consultancy services centered aroundquantitative approaches to support drug research, development, and life-cycle decisions,helping increase confidence in decisions for new medicines that improve patients’ lives.We operate across several interrelated domains, including model-informed drug development(MIDD), pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, statistics, physiologically basedpharmacokinetics (PBPK), quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP), biopharmaceutics, andregulatory strategy. MIDD has emerged as an integral part of modern pharmaceuticaldevelopment, strongly encouraged by regulatory agencies for its ability to increase mechanisticunderstanding and predicting clinical outcomes while saving time and resources. Founded in 2012 in Uppsala, Sweden, Pharmetheus has grown to ~130 employees in 15+countries spanning three continents, with offices in Uppsala (HQ), Paris, and Utrecht. We haveestablished a solid foundation for further ambitious growth and have been profitable sinceinception with steadily increasing revenues, earning the Di Gasell award in 2017, 2020, 2021,2022, 2023, and 2024. To support our next phase of growth,we are seeking 1 to 2 new Board Directors to widen our collective expertise and diversity. Weare aiming to conclude the recruitment by the end of 2026 with the assignment starting in Q12027.We are seeking highly committed individuals who can help revitalize and advance our strategicthinking while bringing fresh perspectives to our growth journey. We are looking for individuals who: ● Are diligent, trustworthy, and collaborative team players● Demonstrate a keen interest in Pharmetheus’ core business and mission● Commit the necessary time and focus to board duties● Share our core values (https://pharmetheus.com/about-us/mission-vision-values/)● Exercise independent, objective judgment regarding company strategy and management● Have previous board experience, ideally including experience as a board chair or anambition to take on a chair role. We expect strong candidates to bring deep expertise in 2 or more of the following areas: ● Scaling international companies and strategic business expansion● Integrating Artificial Intelligence solutions in life sciences or consulting services● Decision-making in drug development and clinical research● Professional consultancy business models● Financial acumen relevant to growing consultancy organizations● Mergers & Acquisitions and investor co-development As a Board member, you have proven experience in executive leadership and corporategovernance. You are ideally located in Sweden or elsewhere in Europe, with the ability to travelto Sweden.
