Business Analytics – European Union | Remote We are hiring for one of our clients for a Business Analytics opportunity open to candidates across the European Union. The role involves working with business data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making across different business functions. Key ResponsibilitiesGather, consolidate, and analyze business data from various internal and external sources.Translate business requirements into clear analytical objectives and measurable outcomes.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools for business teams.Analyze sales, customer, operational, financial, and market data to identify meaningful trends.Monitor key business metrics and investigate significant changes or performance gaps.Conduct variance analysis to understand differences between actual performance and business targets.Identify opportunities for process improvement through data-driven analysis.Perform data cleaning, validation, transformation, and quality checks before analysis.Build recurring and ad-hoc reports based on stakeholder requirements.Support forecasting, trend analysis, and scenario-based business planning.Develop meaningful KPIs and assist teams in establishing appropriate performance benchmarks.Work with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and recommend data-backed solutions.Communicate complex analytical findings through clear visualizations, summaries, and presentations.Assist in automating repetitive reporting and data preparation activities.Document analytical processes, reporting methodologies, and key business metrics.Conduct exploratory analysis to uncover patterns, relationships, and potential business opportunities.Support management teams with timely insights for operational and strategic decision-making.Ensure analytical outputs are accurate, consistent, and aligned with defined business requirements. Required Skills• Strong understanding of Business Analytics concepts and data-driven decision-making.• Knowledge of Excel and data visualization or reporting tools.• Familiarity with SQL and working with databases.• Understanding of statistical concepts and analytical techniques.• Ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.• Good attention to detail and data accuracy.• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with distributed teams. Preferred Skills• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.• Familiarity with KPI development, business reporting, and performance analytics.• Exposure to forecasting, market analysis, or financial/business data.• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms is an advantage.
