Business Development Manager

I am supporting a fast-growing international CDMO in the expansion of its European commercial team and are looking for an experienced Business Development professional. This is an excellent opportunity to join an international CDMO at an exciting stage of European growth, with significant autonomy and the opportunity to build and develop a key territory. This is a highly commercial, customer-facing role with responsibility for developing new business opportunities and building strategic relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical companies across Europe. Title: Senior Business Development Manager / Associate Director of Business DevelopmentLocation: Europe （DACH & Benelux） ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute business development strategy across the assigned European territoryIdentify, engage and develop new biotech and pharmaceutical customersBuild strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and strategic accountsGenerate and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline, from initial engagement through proposal and contract discussionsTake ownership of revenue targets and commercial growth within the territoryWork closely with internal technical, R&D, operations and quoting teams to support customer projectsRepresent the company at relevant industry conferences, partnering events and customer meetings across EuropeProvide market intelligence and customer feedback to support commercial and strategic planning Qualifications Strong track record in CDMO / CRO / pharmaceutical services Business DevelopmentExperience within Peptides and/or APIs is highly preferredGood understanding of drug development, CMC and pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentsStrong commercial mindset with excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skillsScientific background in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline preferred LocationPreference for candidates based in DACH & Benelux.Strong candidates located elsewhere in Europe may also be considered.
