The RoleAs our Business Lawyer, you will become a central part of our core team in Stockholm.You will take responsibility for Dahlgren Capital’s day-to-day legal matters while working closely with senior management and our investment team on strategic and business-critical matters.The role is broad and will give you exposure to investments, transactions, corporate matters and entrepreneurship. You will work closely with our internal team as well as external legal advisers, investors, entrepreneurs and company management teams. Your key responsibilities will include:Taking ownership of and developing Dahlgren Capital’s day-to-day commercial legal mattersActing as a strategic legal adviser and sounding board to senior managementSupporting the investment team in connection with investments and transactionsWorking with corporate law, commercial agreements and other business-critical legal mattersCoordinating and collaborating with external legal advisers when requiredBringing a commercial legal perspective to the continued development of Dahlgren Capital and our investments Who We Believe You AreYou are a commercially minded lawyer who believes that legal expertise is at its best when it helps enable great business.You are analytical and detail-oriented, while also pragmatic and solution-driven. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with short decision-making processes, where initiative and ownership are encouraged. We believe you:Have approximately 3–6 years of experience from a commercial law firm and/or an in-house legal roleHave experience with, or a strong understanding of, SPV structures, international and/or Luxembourg fund structures, M&A, corporate law, investments or financeHave strong commercial judgement and can combine high legal standards with a business-oriented perspectiveCommunicate fluently in both Swedish and EnglishAre independent, collaborative and solution-orientedThrive in an entrepreneurial environment where things move quicklyWant to take ownership and actively shape the business, rather than simply manage existing structures Why Dahlgren Capital?This is not a traditional legal role.You will have the opportunity to work close to the investments, entrepreneurs and decisions – becoming part of the business rather than advising it from the sidelines.
