CAD Engineer

Role: CAD DesignerLocation: Malmo/Lund, Sweden Assignment DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer for a consulting assignment with our client in Malmö. The role involves working with the design and development of production fixtures that are integrated into existing production flows. You will be involved throughout the entire process – from concept and design to industrialization, verification, and handover to production. Responsibilities:Design and development of production fixturesEnsure efficient industrialization and implementation in the production environmentVerification and validation of technical solutionsChange management related to design and productionOptimization of costs and lead timesCollaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teamsQualifications:Strong competence in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly)Proven experience in design for manufacturing and assemblyExperience with tolerance setting and material selectionSolid experience in production preparation and manufacturing processesKnowledge of both conventional manufacturing and additive manufacturing (AM)Experience working with suppliersUsed to working in cross-functional environments Other Requirements:Approved background checkApproved drug testPersonal Attributes We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and has strong collaboration skills, as the role involves many internal and external stakeholders.
