About the roleAt Hyper Island, much of the learning happens through encounters with people who are actively shaping their industries. Industry experts, practitioners, leaders and speakers bring their experience into our learning journeys, helping students connect what they are learning with the realities, questions and possibilities of the world around them. As our Casting Manager, you are the person who helps make those encounters happen. You will build and nurture our community of external collaborators, identify and bring in the right expertise for our programs and courses, and help our collaborators understand how learning happens at Hyper Island. Hyper Island continuously strives to provide the Higher Vocational Education (YH) that is cutting edge and future forward. This means we recruit industry experts that continuously bring new perspectives, lived experience, expertise and sometimes the question or challenge that changes how a student sees their future. Casting at Hyper Island is therefore more than finding someone who knows a subject. It is about finding people who can contribute to meaningful learning—and building a community they want to remain part of. There is also an amount of coordinational and administrational responsibility. You will be successful in this role if you are comfortable moving between relationship-building and coordination: one moment having a conversation with an industry professional about how they might contribute to a learning experience, the next making sure contracts, budgets and practical details are in place. This is a maternity cover from December 2026 to December 2027, based in Stockholm, and the role reports to the Director of Learning Development & Facilitation. HybridThis role combines remote and in-office work. While some responsibilities can be performed remotely, team members are expected to be onsite at least three days a week. Specific onsite days may vary by team, depending on operational needs and project requirements. The way of working is guided by the company’s and business unit’s overall strategies, goals, values, and priorities. RELATIONSHIPSAt the heart of this role is relationships, both internal and external. Within the organisation, you will be part of Hyper Island's YH School and report to the Director of Learning Development & Facilitation. Working closely with our Learning Developers & Facilitators and other colleagues across the school, you will help identify what competence, perspectives and experience we need—and find the people who can bring them into the room. Also, you will work intently with our YH Business Development team, Finance, Administration and many more colleagues across Hyper Island. Outside of the organisation, you will develop and maintain a diverse network of industry professionals and create meaningful connections between their expertise and the learning needs of our students. RESPONSIBILITIESMain responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:Build, nurture and develop relationships with industry experts, leaders, practitioners and speakers.Identify and cast external collaborators for programs and courses based on learning needs, subject expertise and fit with Hyper Island's approach.Manage contracting and related processes, ensuring agreements, documentation and ways of working are clear and up to date.Design and deliver onboarding that helps collaborators understand Hyper Island, our students and our experiential approach to learning.Create an engaging experience for our collaborator community and explore ways of strengthening the value exchange between Hyper Island and the people who contribute to our learning journeys.Work closely with Learning Developers & Facilitators to ensure we bring relevant and high-quality industry competence into our programs.Together with the Director of Learning Development & Facilitation, develop learning and training opportunities for collaborators to strengthen facilitation quality and alignment with the Hyper Island learning philosophy and methodology.Staying curious and informed about the industries, disciplines and emerging areas represented across our portfolio so that our collaborator network continues to evolve alongside them.Manage the collaborator budget in partnership with Finance and our Business Controller.
