Freelance Clinical Research Nurse (Home-Based)Location: Finland (Home-Based)Contract Type: Freelance / Independent ContractorHours: Up to 40 hours per weekIndustry: Clinical Research / Clinical Trials OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Freelance Clinical Research Nurse to support patient screening activities for clinical trials. Working remotely, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and engaging potential study participants to ensure efficient recruitment and enrollment into clinical research studies.This position is ideal for a registered nurse with clinical research experience who enjoys patient interaction, working independently, and contributing to the advancement of medical research. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct remote patient screening activities for assigned clinical trials.Review patient medical histories, clinical records, and eligibility criteria to assess suitability for study participation.Contact potential participants via telephone or video consultation to explain study requirements and conduct pre-screening assessments.Evaluate inclusion and exclusion criteria in accordance with study protocols.Maintain accurate and timely screening documentation within clinical trial databases and electronic systems.Collaborate with investigators, study coordinators, sponsors, and recruitment teams to facilitate patient enrollment.Schedule and coordinate appointments for eligible participants with study sites where required.Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with GCP (Good Clinical Practice), study protocols, local regulations, and data privacy requirements.Respond to patient questions regarding clinical trial participation while maintaining neutrality and protocol compliance.Support patient retention efforts through regular communication and follow-up activities.Escalate clinical concerns or protocol-related issues to the appropriate study personnel. Required QualificationsRegistered Nurse qualification with active nursing registration.Previous experience in clinical research, clinical trials, patient recruitment, or study coordination.Strong understanding of GCP guidelines and clinical research processes.Experience reviewing medical records and assessing patient eligibility against protocol criteria.Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical trial management systems.Fluent Hungarian and professional-level English.
